Istanbul Nişantaşı University School of Physical Education and Sports, Sports Management Department student and national athlete Elif Berra Gökkır won a silver medal in the Archery World Cup Stage 4 competitions held in Madrid, Spain.

Advancing to the final in the recurve women's category, Gökkır faced Czech athlete Marie Horackova. Finishing the final match in second place, the national athlete brought Turkey its first individual medal in the recurve women's category in the history of the World Cup stages.

Earning the right to participate in the World Cup Finals with the result she achieved in Madrid, Gökkır ranked among the top eight athletes in the world rankings with the points she collected in the Mexico, Shanghai, Antalya, and Madrid stages throughout the season.
