The Istanbul Nişantaşı University Department of Foreign Languages successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the international accreditation body EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services) and has been accredited until 2030. By meeting al 56 criteria across 12 different areas, the department certified that it holds high international quality standards in foreign language education.

Operating in a total of 35 countries and providing consultancy services to the Council of Europe in the field of foreign language teaching, EAQUALS is among the leading quality evaluation organizations internationaly recognized in the field of language education with over 30 years of experience.

Within the scope of the evaluation conducted, it was determined that the department met high standards in the following areas;

• teaching quality
• course programs
• course organization
• learning resources
• measurement and evaluation

Additionaly, the importance given to student and staff welfare, as well as the accurate and realistic preparation of al promotional materials, were among the topics positively evaluated during the accreditation process.

Received the Title of “Area of Excellence”

EAQUALS evaluators stated that the department demonstrated success at the “Point of Excellence” level in the “communication with teachers” category.
