The "World Academic Summit" was held from October 7-9, 2024, in Manchester, UK, hosted by the University of Manchester and organized by Times Higher Education (THE). Representing Istanbul Nişantaşı University, our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Yeşim Özer Yürür, attended the summit.

Bringing together over 500 university representatives from around the world, the summit focused on the theme "Making a Difference: The Purpose of Universities in a Rapidly Changing World" and explored the responsibility of universities to create meaningful impacts on individuals’ lives. The event addressed several topics critical to Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s mission and vision, including university-industry collaborations, innovative educational models with an emphasis on online learning, and the potential of universities to foster positive change within local, national, and international communities.

Additionaly, discussions on potential new collaborations, particularly within our neighboring regions, took place; and our team participated in workshops on the upcoming Times Higher Education 2025 World Rankings.
