The works prepared by the students of the Department of Textile and Fashion Design within the scope of the courses “Pattern and Aesthetics,” “Basic Art Education,” “Draping Techniques,” and “Artistic Textiles” were exhibited on Monday, March 2, at the foyer area of the NeoTech Campus.

Produced under the theme of “Equality–Inequality,” the artworks presented a distinctive slction combining students’ conceptual thinking skills with their technical competence and creative approaches. The opening ceremony, curated and conducted by Dr. Bahar Yıldız and Dr. Ayça Karaca, introduced the works developed throughout the semester to the audience.

Created through diverse materials, techniques, and forms of expression, the projects addressed the concepts of equality and inequality from aesthetic, social, and intellectual perspectives. Shaped by an interdisciplinary approach, these works reflect a learning process in which technical proficiency is complemented by creative thinking, critical inquiry, and artistic sensitivity.

In this respect, the exhibition demonstrates that students of the Department of Textile and Fashion Design engage in a holistic production practice grounded not only in application-based processes but also in a strong conceptual foundation.
