The results of the Round University Ranking (RUR) 2026 World University Rankings have been announced. Istanbul Nişantaşı University continued to strengthen its position in the global higher education ecosystem with the results it achieved in the fields of research performance and internationalization.

Strong Performance in Research

Ranking 699th globaly in the Research dimension, Istanbul Nişantaşı University rose to 4th place among foundation universities in Turkey, demonstrating the strength of its research ecosystem and scientific production capacity.

The university achieved remarkable success in the field of Normalized Citation Impact, one of the most important indicators of the research dimension. While Istanbul Nişantaşı University ranked 251st globaly in this indicator, it rose to 2nd place among foundation universities and 4th place among al universities in Turkey. This result reflects the impact and visibility of the scientific studies produced at the university within international academic literature.

Top Three Among Foundation Universities in Internationalization

Ranking 437th globaly in the International Diversity dimension, Istanbul Nişantaşı University maintained its strong performance in the field of internationalization by rising to 3rd place among foundation universities in Turkey.
