Istanbul Nişantaşı University received the Institutional Accreditation Certificate, awarded by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), at a ceremony. The certificate, presented by YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, was evaluated as an important indicator demonstrating the compliance of the university's efforts in the field of quality assurance with national and international standards.

Delivering the opening speech of the ceremony, Istanbul Nişantaşı University Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu stated that institutional accreditation is not merely a result, but a natural reflection of the quality culture adopted by the university. Expressing that they consider quality as a corporate understanding that guides al processes from education and research to governance and social contribution, Çıtıpıtıoğlu emphasized that the achieved success was realized through the joint efforts of the academic and administrative staff, the quality coordinatorship, students, and al stakeholders, and stated that they will continue their quality-oriented development process with the same determination.

YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, who delivered a presentation titled "Globalization in Education and the Importance of Accreditations in a Changing and Transforming World" within the scope of the program, made comprehensive evaluations regarding the future of higher education.

Sharing current data regarding the Turkish higher education system in his presentation, Kocabıçak stated that quality assurance systems in higher education develop education, research, governance, and social contribution processes with a holistic approach. Noting that institutional accreditation provides significant contributions in terms of international recognition, inter-university competition, global employment opportunities, and international equivalence, Kocabıçak said that the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) logo featured on the diplomas of accredited programs strengthens the international recognition of graduates.

Drawing attention to the fact that digital transformation and artificial intelligence are reshaping higher education, Kocabıçak emphasized the importance of universities developing educational models suited to changing skill needs. Expressing that AI-supported learning, personalized education, microlearning, lifelong learning, and skill-oriented curricula will be among the main topics of the upcoming period, Kocabıçak articulated that quality assurance systems are one of the most important mechanisms guiding this transformation.

Following the speeches, the Institutional Accreditation Certificate awarded to Istanbul Nişantaşı University by YÖKAK was presented to Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu by YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak.

After the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak visited the university's laboratories, artificial intelligence application areas, and exhibition areas, receiving information about the academic studies and projects being carried out.
