In line with its internationalization vision, Istanbul Nişantaşı University continues to expand the global learning opportunities it offers to its students. Two students from the University successfully participated in the "Ports of the Future" International Summer School, organized by one of the University's partner institutions, Université Le Havre Normandie (France).

As part of the program, Ceren Aydın, a first-year Industrial Engineering student, and Alperen Sarıçayır, a Tourism Management student, attended the international summer school held in Le Havre, France, from 15 to 19 June 2026.

Supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR), the EUNICoast European University Alliance, and Erasmus , the program brought together international academics and industry professionals to discuss topics including the ports of the future, sustainable port management, digital transformation, blockchain technologies, robotics applications, logistics, global trade, maritime history, climate change, and smart port solutions.

In addition to academic sessions, students reinforced their theoretical knowledge through technical visits to Port 2000, the Proxinnov Industrial Robotics Center, and other key sites reflecting Le Havre's maritime heritage. At the end of the program, they presented projects developed in collaboration with participants from different countries to an international jury, gaining valuable interdisciplinary and intercultural experience.

Implemented within the framework of the growing partnership between Istanbul Nişantaşı University and Université Le Havre Normandie, this mobility program made a significant contribution to our students' international academic experience. The University continues to strengthen its international partnerships through student mobility, joint academic activities, and collaborative research projects, providing students with new opportunities on a global scale.
