Lect. Nesrin Neslihan Kocuk from the Istanbul Nişantaşı University Foreign Languages Department, together with Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan from Marmara University and Asst. Prof. Pınar Başkan, has published their academic study titled “Academic Lecturers’ Perceptions of English as a Lingua Franca in the Eurasian Context” in Volume 14, Issue 1 of the IAFOR Journal of Education. The study examines academic lecturers’ perceptions of the use of English as a “lingua franca” (a common language of communication) in the Eurasian context.

The IAFOR Journal of Education is an internationaly peer-reviewed academic journal in the field of education and is indexed in Scopus. The journal contributes to the development of the literature by publishing research that makes a global contribution to educational studies.

The published study offers significant findings on English language teaching and lecturers’ language awareness, thereby contributing to the relevant literature.
