As Nişantaşı University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER), we held a comprehensive orientation program on Monday, October 6, 2025, meeting our new students.

The event, held on our university campus, began with an opening speech by our TÖMER Director, Dr. Lecturer Merve Suroğlu Sofu. Welcoming our new students, Sofu emphasized the importance of language learning and the goals of the upcoming academic year.

Following the opening, our Assistant Director, Lecturer Levent Emre Bilgin, and Lecturer Efsun Sıla Yarbaşı gave a detailed presentation about the functioning of TÖMER. The presentation covered the academic calendar, administrative processes, course procedures, and essential information that students will need in campus life.

The program continued under the moderation of Lecturer Aysu Güzel, who also served as the host of the event, and concluded with the entire TÖMER teaching staff being invited to the stage. Our instructors and students had the opportunity to meet and interact on stage.

We wish al our new students success in the upcoming academic term and hope they have a year full of learning, Turkish practice, and enjoyment.
