As part of the program “Practical Experiences in Combating Addiction – Talk with a Guest Expert,” the event titled “Much Can Come from One Time” was held to convey current approaches and real-world practices in the field of addiction to students.

The guest of the event, İsa Altun, Forensic Informatics Specialist, Addiction Consultant, and Retired Police Officer, shared his extensive field experience and provided in-depth information on the development of addictive behaviors, the relationship between crime and addiction, the emergence of risky behaviors, and recovery processes. Enriched with real-life case examples, the seminar offered participants both theoretical and practical insights.

The event aimed to help social work students develop an interdisciplinary perspective in addiction studies, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and enhance their professional awareness.
