The Foreign Languages Department of Istanbul Nişantaşı University has been accredited by EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services), demonstrating that it meets international quality standards in education. Operating in 35 countries and serving as an advisor to the Council of Europe on foreign language teaching, EAQUALS is one of the world's leading quality assessment bodies in language education, with over 30 years of experience.

The assessment confirmed that our department meets high standards in teaching quality, course programmes, course organisation, learning resources, and testing and evaluation. It was also certified that our department takes great care to protect the welfare of its students and staff, and that al promotional materials produced are accurate and truthful.

Point of Excellence

EAQUALS inspectors identified our department as having excellent standards in the category of "communication with staff" and awarded a point of excellence. The certificate states:

"The comprehensive organisation of formal departmental meetings, the outcomes of which are shared with participants, ensures that al staff are accurately informed, while also fostering collegiality, openness and a sense of belonging."
