Eylem Ejder, a faculty member of the Department of Performing Arts at our Conservatory, presented her work in a two-part grp exhibition organised within the scope of the international artistic research project entitled Palimpsest, conducted in collaboration between universities in Türkiye and Spain. The first exhibition of the project was held in Spain in December, while the second exhibition was presented to audiences at Istanbul Fişekhane between 12–18 January.

Inspired by the concept of the palimpsest, which explores how spaces can be rewritten with new meanings without erasing the traces of their past, Ejder’s work entitled Revealed / Açılan (Artistic Research Notebook – Instalation) was produced during an artistic research process conducted around the Monastery of Stoudios in Samatya. The work was featured as an instalation that made the idea of the palimpsest visible through the form of a notebook.
