The main jury members have been announced in the "Cinema of the Future" competition organized by the General Directorate of Cinema of the T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the consultancy and cooperation of the TÜRSAK Foundation for cinema students to realize their short film projects.

The main jury members who will select the projects in the “Cinema of the Future” competition are composed of professionals from the sector. The competition is held for the 18th time this year and organized with the cooperation of the General Directorate of Cinema of the T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Turkey Cinema and Audiovisual Culture Foundation (TURSAK) in order to create the necessary financial and in-kind opportunities for cinema students to make qualified short films,

Cinema of the Future Main Jury Members

Successful names from different fields of the cinema industry will evaluate the applications for the competition. 18. The Cinema of the Future Jury, chaired by BKM CEO Zümrüt Arol Bekçe; consists of the Radio, Television and Cinema Department Head and Deputy Dean of our university Burcu Kurtiş, Director and Scriptwriter Emre Kavuk, Actor Yiğit Kirazcı and Selçuk Yavuzkanat, Deputy General Director of Cinema of the T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The competition is open to participation of associate, undergraduate and graduate students studying in the departments of cinema and media in the private or state schools of the Republic of Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
