On 29 November 2025, our Administrative Coordinator, Büşra Uğurlu, and Testing & Assessment Specialist, Büşranur Alkanat, represented İstanbul Nişantaşı University Foreign Languages Department at the Oxford Nexus 2025 – Aligned with Growth conference hosted by Istanbul Ticaret University.

The event featured insightful talks by Zeynep Ürkün, who addressed current testing–assessment–curriculum models in Türkiye, and Mehtap Çiçen, who discussed strategic planning and sustainable quality improvement in Schools of Foreign Languages.

Participants then took part in hands-on grp activities, examining performance evaluation samples, reviewing an annual professional development plan, and reflecting on how these practices can be adapted to our institutional context.

This valuable experience supports our department’s commitment to quality assurance, professional development, and continuous improvement in language education.
