On 11 February 2026, Elvan Soytaşoğlu, one of the instructors from the School of Foreign Languages, participated in the Master Cookshop event hosted by Sabancı University. The event brought together approximately 30 academics from different universities to share insights on lesson planning processes, classroom practices, and pedagogical chalenges encountered in teaching.

Throughout the day, participants took part in interactive sessions whr they exchanged experiences and developed possible solutions to common chalenges. Within working grps designed around a “cookshop” concept, topics such as teaching materials, strategies to increase student engagement, and the effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence in education were discussed.

The event concluded with participants presenting and evaluating the work they had prepared during the sessions.
