The “Shared Stories Across Generations Panel,” organized through the collaboration of Istanbul Nişantaşı University Tazelenme University Coordination Office, the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports, and the Accessible Life Unit, was held at our NeoTech Campus with strong participation and great interest.

The event began with a meaningful musical performance featuring our Conservatory students and Tazelenme University participants on the same stage. This special gathering, whr different generations came together through art, created a strong atmosphere of interaction and sharing among participants.

The panel was moderated by Dr. Lecturer Sakine Arslan Erbaş, and featured speakers including Prof. Dr. Sema Bilgiç Gazioğlu, Associate Prof. Dr. Alişan Burak Yaşar, Dr. Lecturer Fırat Demirkol, Dr. Lecturer Eylem Ejder, and Dr. Lecturer Ayşe Çiğdem Kocaman.

The presentations addressed the individual and social dimensions of aging, as well as the importance of intergenerational interaction and the transfer of experience. With the contributions of our expert academics, the importance of transferring knowledge and experience as a sustainable value across generations was emphasized.

Reflecting our university’s vision of social contribution and inclusivity, the event brought together different age grps on a common ground and created strong awareness.
