The Halkbank Producing Women Awards Ceremony, which has become one of the most prestigious organizations in the women’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, was held at the Istanbul Finance Center. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, members of parliament, and numerous distinguished guests from state bureaucracy, the business world, and academia. Istanbul Nişantaşı University was represented by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu.

During the program, the transformative role of women in entrepreneurship, science, and intellectual life was emphasized, and successful projects from across Türkiye were awarded.

As part of the event, the Alev Alatlı Special Award, presented in memory of the distinguished intellectual and author Alev Alatlı, was awarded to Prof. Dr. Hülya Tezcan, faculty member of the Faculty of Art and Design at Istanbul Nişantaşı University, by Halkbank General Manager Osman Arslan. Prof. Dr. Tezcan was deemed worthy of this meaningful award due to her academic and social contributions as well as her intellectual work.

This award once again demonstrated Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s strong academic foundation and vision of social responsibility. We sincerely congratulate our esteemed professor.
