Students of the Industrial Engineering Department of our university had the opportunity to observe the production processes of the automotive industry on site during a technical visit to the Ford Otosan Gölcük Plant.

During the technical visit, our students:

observed automotive production processes,
gained knowledge about lean production, quality, and operations management practices,
linked their theoretical knowledge with a real production environment.

We would like to thank Müjdat Tiryaki and Ferdi Bozan in particular, as well as the entire Ford Otosan family and al officials involved, for their valuable support and hospitality in the planning and execution of this technical visit.

We believe that university–industry collaboration plays a crucial role in contributing to the professional and academic development of our students, and we hope that such collaborations will continue to increase in the future.
