The students and academic staff were welcomed by Mr. Ferdi Bozan from Ford Otosan, who provided them with comprehensive information about the plant's production processes, engineering practices, and innovations in the automotive industry. During the tour, participants had the opportunity to observe the production processes firsthand by visiting the Tooling, Press, Welding, Assembly, and Battery departments.
As part of the visit, the students also received training on Occupational Health and Safety, gaining insight into the principles of safe working in the industry. In a presentation delivered by Ford Otosan representatives, detailed information was shared about the company’s production capacity, engineering projects, and sustainability initiatives.
