Dr. Levent Uysal, Founder of Nişantaşı Education Foundation, highlighted the significant achievements of our university’s academic and administrative teams throughout 2024, emphasizing that this momentum will be sustained in 2025. Key elements that have strengthened our global position include the collaboration with Cambridge, the digitalization vision, national and international project applications, and international student targets. Dr. Uysal emphasized their focus on enhancing global recognition and strengthening internationalization efforts in 2025.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, underlined the increase in project applications and approvals, emphasizing the growing strength of our research ecosystem. She noted that events organized to support the academic and social development of our students have enriched the university culture by boosting student involvement in various processes. She stressed their commitment to sustainable success through proper organization, effective teamwork, and strategic planning.
General Secretary Dr. Ahmet Süngeriçlioğlu evaluated the university’s academic success with figures, stating that 8,000 students chose our university as their first preference in 2024 and that we ranked among the top three in Istanbul for admitting students with the highest scores. He also noted that the university received 80,000 applications, indicating strong interest and demand.
The meeting concluded with the presentation of plaques to distinguished academic and administrative staff, followed by closing remarks from Dr. Levent Uysal. He emphasized that the university would continue to grow stronger, taking innovative steps in education to elevate its success trajectory. He highlighted that the 2025 targets include not only quantitative but also qualitative improvements to create a more robust educational and research ecosystem, inviting the academic and administrative teams to work together toward these shared goals.
