The third phase of strategic R&D and industry collaboration discussions between Istanbul Nişantaşı University and Medtronic, one of the world's leading medical technology companies, has been completed.

During the third meeting, held to advance cooperation between the two institutions through concrete steps, joint projects to be carried out at both global and local levels, as well as strategies focused on Surgical Robotics Technologies, were discussed in detail.

Surgical Robotics and Advanced Technologies on the Agenda

Following the agreements reached during the second meeting held at our NeoTech Campus, the third meeting brought together our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Ece Salihoğlu, and one of our R&D Sector Office Directors, Timuçin Bayram, with Emre Sevinç, Senior Country Director and General Manager of Medtronic Türkiye.

In addition to developments in surgical robotics technologies, opportunities for cooperation in education were also discussed. In this context, the two institutions reached an agreement on signing a Cooperation Protocol.

The parties also agreed to advance the process with a fourth meeting in the coming days.
