Under the supervision of Dr. Dilek Özsoy, Faculty Member of the Department of Social Work at Istanbul Nişantaşı University, the Social Responsibility Project for Individuals with Disabilities, carried out by third-year students Ayça Nur Genç, İlayda Gündüz, Merve Alaoğlu, Rabia Kara, Tuçe Çıtak, and Yaprak Yağmur Ortaç, was successfully completed with the final event held on December 18, 2025.

As part of the event titled “Always Together in a World Enriched by Differences,” 15 students diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and their accompanying individuals from the Kağıthane Municipality Day Care Service Center for Individuals with Disabilities were hosted at Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Neotech Campus.

During the event, an interactive lesson themed “Emotions” was conducted for the participants, with activities focusing on recognizing and expressing basic emotions. At the end of the program, certificates of participation were presented to the participants.

The project was successfully completed as an inclusive initiative aimed at increasing the social interaction of disadvantaged individuals and strengthening social awareness.
