March 27 World Theater Day was celebrated with a ceremony and performances prepared by the faculty members and students of the Performing Arts Acting Department of our Conservatory. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, who made the opening speech of the ceremony, said, "We see our Conservatory, which brings together everyone from every field, parents and students, as very important." The celebration program continued with the show titled "The World is a Theater Stage" directed by Director of Conservatory Assistant Prof. Önder Paker. Choreographed by Lecturer Begüm Akova's dance performances and Music and Vocal Trainig instructors Assistant Prof. Elif Candaş Çevik and Lecturer Volkan Çelik, short excerpts from the plays Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, The Seagull and The Cherry Orchard by Chekhov and A Forced Marriage Proposal by Paker were performed. Narrated by Lecturer Serap Durmaz, the show titled "The World is a Theater Stage" was watched with great interest and appreciation by the audience filling Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevdet Uysal Conference Hal.
