As the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at Istanbul Nişantaşı University, we were proud to host the Transformers ED Türkiye program on December 18, 2025, with the aim of providing a comprehensive perspective on the future of the denim and textile industry in Türkiye. The event was designed as an educational platform to equip our students and young professionals entering the sector with a strong foundation in denim, fiber technologies, innovation, and sustainability.

Throughout the event, key topics such as the fundamentals of denim production processes, fiber innovation, circular economy, product development stages, and Türkiye’s rapidly transforming textile ecosystem were discussed. Expert speakers from leading industry companies including The LYCRA Company, Sharabati Denim, Ereks–Blue Matters, Lenzing Group, Rematters – Textile Recycling Solutions, Colin’s, and BOSSA took part in the sessions. Participants gained realistic, applicable, and up-to-date insights into how the textile industry operates.
