A significant industry–university cooperation protocol was signed between TÜVTÜRK and Istanbul Nişantaşı University to enhance quality standards in the automotive sector and contribute to the development of qualified human resources. Through this collaboration, projects will be implemented to increase the sectoral experience of the students of Nişantaşı University Vocational School’s Automotive Technology Program and to strengthen the integration between education and practice. Within this framework, students will have the opportunity to develop their professional skills by benefiting from TÜVTÜRK’s technical expertise and institutional experience.
Representing Istanbul Nişantaşı University, Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtoğlu, Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Ayşen Bakkaloğlu, Head of Automotive Technology Program Lecturer Elif Balta, and Program Lecturer Medeni Sömer attended the signing ceremony. Representing TÜVTÜRK, General Manager M. Koray Özcan, Deputy General Manager Melis Avalin Korkmaz, Quality, Audit and Academy Manager Gökhan Sarı, Technical Coordination Manager Sinan Balkanlı, and Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Manager Ayşegül Saruhanoğlu were present at the event.
Carried out under the vision of “Building a strong bridge from education to industry,” this cooperation aims to ensure that students benefit from TÜVTÜRK’s technical infrastructure and expertise, become familiar with the latest technologies in the sector, and enhance their employability after graduation. In this way, students will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of innovations in the industry and will be better prepared for professional life.
Under the protocol, internship, on-the-job training, project-based applications, and participation in R&D activities will be offered to students of the Automotive Technology Program. In addition, technical seminars, workshops, and joint educational projects will be organized to strengthen the interaction between the university and the industry. This important collaboration reflects Nişantaşı University’s practice-oriented educational approach and will help students combine theoretical knowledge with real-world experience while contributing to the training of qualified professionals needed by the sector.
