Nişantaşı University proudly hosted a three-day international event titled “Cross-Cultural Urban Pavilion: A Dialogue Between Istanbul and Dubai” from November 7–9, 2024. The event brought together students, academics, and professionals for a seminar, hands-on workshop, and a final design competition aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue through architecture.

Participants explored the intersections of urban culture, identity, and space between two dynamic cities — Istanbul and Dubai. The workshop culminated in a design competition whr students collaborated in interdisciplinary teams to propose innovative urban pavilion concepts reflecting cross-cultural values.

We are pleased to announce the winning students whose outstanding designs were slcted for their creativity, contextual sensitivity, and collaborative spirit. Mohamad Daaboul as the first place and Alimata Bouare, Diakite Kibily Demba, Mostafa Eshak and Abuk Deng Macham Angui as second place were awarded certificates of achievement in recognition of their exceptional contributions.
