We are delighted and proud that Zehra Begüm Kavukçuoğlu, an athlete representing Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s School of Physical Education and Sports and CK Sports Club, has won the U21 World Taekwondo Championship for the second time. Competing in Nairobi, Kenya, she defeated opponents from India, Morocco, the United States, and Greece in the final to claim the world champion title once again.

This international achievement serves as an outstanding example of the contributions that sporting excellence can make to the development of sports in our country. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our student, Zehra Begüm Kavukçuoğlu, as well as to Dr. Abdurrahman Boyacı and Coach Çağrı Kızıl, who helped bring this proud achievement to our university.
