CHIRON Group Representatives Hosted at the R&D Sector Office

The R&D Sector Office of Istanbul Nisantasi University hosted representatives of CHIRON Group, a German engineering company operating in the fields of CNC technologies, automation, and advanced manufacturing solutions.

The meeting was attended by Baris Eser, Deputy General Manager of CHIRON Group, and Hilmi Koc, General Manager of Onur Teknik. Industry representatives Birol Sahin and Hakan Erzaim also took part in the discussions.

The guests were welcomed by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ece Salihoglu and R&D Sector Office Directors Timucin Bayram and Dr. Ismail Kasap.

During the meeting, presentations were delivered on the projects currently being carried out by the R&D Sector Office. Participants exchanged views on connecting these projects with potential investors, strengthening collaboration between industry and academia, and exploring possible opportunities for cooperation.

The discussions also focused on fostering innovation, supporting research and development activities, and creating value through joint initiatives involving the university and industry stakeholders.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue discussions with potential investors and to organize a follow-up meeting aimed at advancing the projects through concrete action plans and collaborative efforts.
