Istanbul Nisantasi University Meets with Its Mexican Partner UPAEP

As part of its internationalization strategy, Istanbul Nisantasi University continues to strengthen its global cooperation ties with its partner institution in Mexico, Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP). Within the scope of the visit, UPAEP Vice Rector for Internationalization Andrés Barba V. was hosted at the university and held a series of important meetings.

During his visit, Andrés Barba V. attended a political science course conducted by Prof. Dr. Vişne Korkmaz within the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences. The course included discussions with students on Mexico’s political structure, current developments in Latin America, and internationalization processes. Views were also exchanged regarding student mobility programs, exchange opportunities, and inter-university cooperation possibilities.

As part of the visit, Istanbul Nisantasi University Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu also met with Andrés Barba V. at the rectorate office. During the meeting, plans were discussed regarding student and staff mobility, joint academic studies, short-term programs, and dual degree models that could be developed between the two universities.
