İstanbul Nişantaşı University has taken another important step in the field of domestic and national medical device technologies. Following our institutional visit to ASELSAN facilities, the ASELSAN UGES (Transportation, Security, Energy, Automation and Healthcare Systems) delegation visited our NeoTech Campus with the aim of transforming our shared goals into concrete projects.

The important meeting was attended by Mr. Fatih Tan, ASELSAN UGES Healthcare Systems Program Director; Mr. Recep Uslu, Life Support Systems Program Manager; and Mr. Tuna Orhanlı, Healthcare Systems Systems Engineering Manager.

Executive-Level Meetings and Laboratory Visits

The visit began with the delegation’s meeting at the Rectorate. Following a tour introducing the technical facilities, laboratory infrastructure and application areas of our campus, the delegation met with Dr. Levent Uysal, Founder of the Nişantaşı Education Foundation, to discuss the shared vision of the two institutions.

Later in the day, a strategic evaluation session was held to clarify the roadmap for cooperation. During the meeting, our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Ece Salihoğlu, together with the presentation prepared by our R&D Sector Office, presented the current activities carried out by our R&D Sector Office, our university’s dynamic implementation capacity and our engineering competencies to the ASELSAN representatives.

The meeting was also attended by our R&D Sector Office Directors, Mr. Timuçin Bayram and Dr. İsmail Kasap, as well as Prof. Dr. Ersin Kadiroğulları. During the meeting, areas of joint collaboration were identified that will combine our university’s ability to take rapid action with ASELSAN’s strength in medical technologies.
