Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Komsuoğlu Çıtıpıtıoğlu, Rector of Istanbul Nişantaşı University, held an online meeting with Dr. Hilligje van't Land, Secretary-General of the International Association of Universities (IAU), the official partner of UNESCO in the field of higher education.

During the meeting, topics such as internationalization in higher education, inclusive education, collaborations focused on sustainable development, and joint project development were discussed. Additionaly, information was shared regarding Istanbul Nişantaşı University's internationalization vision, global partnerships, and strategic goals for international higher education.

The parties evaluated joint initiatives that could be conducted within the scope of IAU membership, the enhancement of cooperation in international academic networks, and new ventures to support knowledge and experience sharing among universities. Joint projects that would contribute to sustainable development goals and activities that could be carried out on international platforms were also brought to the agenda during the meeting.
