Aviation Laboratory 3

Technical Laboratory 9, located within the School of Civil Aviation, is open for the joint use of the Aviation Electrics and Electronics and Aircraft Maintenance and Repair departments. In this laboratory, students receive practical training on the maintenance and repair of aircraft systems. In the courses held in the laboratory, various consumable materials such as maintenance hand tools, measuring devices, cable connection equipment, soldering materials, fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.), and electrical consumables (cables, fuses, connectors, electrical tape, etc.) are used. These materials enable students to practice under conditions similar to a real maintenance environment, detect system faults, and apply appropriate maintenance procedures. This laboratory is heavily used especialy within the scope of the Maintenance Applications course, contributing to students' gaining manual skills, technical attention, and occupational safety awareness.
