Aviation Laboratory I is used as a joint training area for the Aviation Electrics and Electronics and Aircraft Maintenance and Repair departments. The laboratory houses aircraft training sets, gas turbine engine cross-sections, fuel and lubrication system modules, and simulation systems showing the operating principles of control surfaces.
In this workshop, the courses “Turbine Aeroplane Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems” and “Gas Turbine Engines” are conducted practicaly. In these training sessions, students learn by observing the basic operating principles of turbine engines, airflow and combustion processes, structural components, and maintenance procedures. Thus, they gain the skills to perform performance analyses of engine systems and to master troubleshooting processes.
