The World's Largest Robotics Tournament Was Hosted by Nişantaşı University.
The first tournament of the season in VEX tournaments, in which more than 20 thousand teams participated in 45 countries around the world, resulted in Nişantaşı University Neotech campus. Elementary and middle school students competed in the VEX IQ Challenge, while high school students competed in the VEX Robotics Competition, showing off their ingenious robots.
VEX Robotics tournament Turkey, which entered the Guinness Book of records as "the world's largest robot competition" with the participation of 30 thousand students in the past years, took place at Nişantaşı University NEOTECH campus on November 16-17. Successful teams from each other battled their robots in the tournament, which was held with the theme of Vex IQ Challenge Squared away in the elementary-middle school category and Tower Takeover in the high school category. The winning teams will represent Turkey in the Championship, which will be held in Louisville, USA, at the end of the tournaments where teams can participate free of charge.

Levent Uysal, Founder President of Nişantaşı University, which is hosting the Vex Robotics tournament, said: “We have to stop being consumers of Technology and become producers. We believe that robotic technologies will be the hallmark of the future. Software is the universal language of the future, and we must use this language to produce domestic and National technologies and represent our country in the field of technology in the best way possible by competing with global giants. VEX Robotics tournaments will be one of the most important milestones on our way to this end,” pointing to the importance of the event.

Winners Were Announced In The First Tournament Of The Season
The first tournament of the season, the Vex IQ Challenge, which started with its goal for generations of producers, received the Monster Phoenix team, Design Award (VIQC), Teamwork Champion Award (VIQC) and the Monster Brothers team Robot Skills Champion Award (VIQC) from Samsun Bilgi schools, while the liv·e : Elementals-the last Vex Benders team from Liv College received the Excellence Award (VIQC) the liv·e : mechanical monsters team from the same school won the teamwork 2nd place award (VIQC). The other winners of the competition are Orhangazi Imam Hatip Secondary School Teamwork 2nd Place Award (VIQC) with SUPERNOVA team and IELEV special 125 with ELEV RoboVEX team. The Middle School of the year won the STEM Research Project Award (VIQC) and the Kartal Science and Art Center with the KABIRO Girls team won the Judges Award (VIQC) to participate in the Turkish championship.
In high school tournaments, the Robot Skills team from Tevitöl HEXAGON team, the MECHAMINDS team from Hisar schools in Design Award, The Script team from Uğur schools in Judges Award, the ENKATECH team from Enka schools in Excellence Award, while the champion of the tournament was Hexagon and Revolution team from Çydd, the finalists of the tournament were TECHNOTICS team from Hisar schools and EUROROBOTICS team from European test schools in Turkey.
U.S. ticket winners at Turkish Championship will be announced
The teams that have qualified to participate in the Turkish championship with their achievements from the tournaments will show their talents in the tournaments that will be held on 7-8 March 2019 primary-secondary school and 29 February-1March 2019 for high schools. The winning teams in the Turkish Championship will be eligible to represent our country from the World Championship, which will be held in the United States.Release date: 18.11.2019
